hey i joined SAO yesterday, and i was thinking in a boss , then i joined the forums and founded this topic ,and i decided to give ideas ,so lets start, first the boss can be a giant tree (atleast the size of a stick)but without leafs. like the sticks the boss does have 2 attacks ,first he punches the ground , and second he throws leafs from the holes of his arms. the leafs will go flying til it find a target or an obstacle (example: wall ).
the image of the monster could be like the monster of ragnarok http://www.dbrok.net...onster/1010.gif change the arms for like cannon wooden made ,get it?

i think the person who finishes the boss off should get the most exp maybe 150 to maybe 200
then the others that helped kill it should get about 75 to maybe 125

Is this a necropost?

Anywho
@ Brian ED - Even editing a sprite is copyright infringement, they can sue you big time.
@ willl - let us assume the monster has 1000 hp... you have spent 30 seconds fighting it and it is about to die. It has 1 hp... then someone comes by and hits it...
They will gain twice the exp that you gain, without working for it.

why can't it just be the percentage of damage you do gives you that percentage of exp when its finnished

I'm sorry, sir, but in order to start your clan you must successfully navigate your way out of a cardboard box.

I like the last hitting idea, promotes killing someone a lot later.

EDIT: If anyone here has played DOTA before last hitting takes a lot of skill to do repeatedly.

ok i see what you mean but if whoever deals the least damage shoud get the least exp but the more damage you deal the more exp you get so that way its fair id say 1 to 10 hits you shoud get 50 to 75 exp
11to25 hits should gget abot 125to 150 exp and 26 to50hit should get you 225 to about300exp 50+ should get 350 to425exp
