We will be hosting a pumpkin carving contest this year, so everyone get ready!

The rules are simple:
  • You need to carve a real-life pumpkin.
  • Take two photos of your carved pumpkin. One with a candle/light inside of the pumpkin in a dark area (like in the banner), and another in a bright area so we can see what the whole pumpkin looks like.
  • Upload the photos to an image hosting service, such as photobucket.com or imageshack.us and post them in this thread.
  • Submissions must follow the rules of the forum, so don't carve anything obscene.
  • All submissions must be submitted before the deadline.
  • Only one submission per person, and only one pumpkin per submission.
  • Accessories are allowed, such as skeletons, hats, etc. But in the end, judging will be based on how well your carved pumpkin looks in the dark.

All submissions will be displayed in the newsletter issue following the announcement of the contest winner.

Deadline:
The deadline is at 3:00 PM GMT, on October 30th.

Judging:
Judging will be done after the deadline, and the winners will be announced at 7:00 AM GMT, on October 31st. The judges will be InvisibleMan, GreyKnight, and StrongDad.

Prize:
The 1st place winner will receive a drawing by GreyKnight involving the winner's carved pumpkin. The prize will be delivered to the winner via e-mail as soon as it has been finished.
1st & 2nd place will receive an invitation to the "Loradon 3.0" Preview beta. "Loradon 3.0" is currently in pre-alpha, but the winners will be notified the moment it enters beta.

Aww man, thats a shame.
I just happened to have no good ideas, no pumpkins so far as I know, no carving skills or anything.
I don't even know if I can afford one.

my moms camera saves images as .JPG but it gets the job done i guess, i hope i do well in the contest :{D just noticed the date is set wrong, i assure you that i did take these in 2009 :P
