It is common knowledge among this community that Loradon 2.1 is dead. But it doesn't have to be this way. I've finally run out of games to play as I am either #1 in the world or extremley close. I purpose that everyone just starts an entirley new character. If even ten people do this and play consistantly the game will snowball and come back to life as more and more people will start playing because their friends have started back up or just because they did not play because of the inactivity. I've had enough of people whining no I am not going to play because I am waiting for "3.0" to come out. I've been hearing it will be out "next year" or "next christmas" for the four or FIVE years I have been in involved in the loradon community so why don't we just take matters into our own hands and revive the game?

I agree with you. Its time I make my come back and see if we can get things rolling. I think it will be fun. Besides, i am bored of World of Warcraft and Guild wars. Its time to return to the classics. I will make a new character and repost with name after i make him.
edit: my new main characters name will be 2legit2quit.

- Interests:I like all sports mostly hockey and lacrosse, and I like to play loradon. Im just a sports kid. I like to run which may seem weird but oh well lol. the main type of music I like is classic rock but I really can listen to all music.

Rman I'm with you on this. I have been going on recently thinking maybe someone else will come on cause they check online players and see me. That has not happened so I'll give this a try. If we can get like 10 people out of this it will awesome. I'll make my new character and post his name as soon as possible.

I don't know, why try to revive Loradon 2 when Loradon 3 is making its way out?
Now, I play SAO, but just because its coming along slowly that doesn't mean I'm going to try and get everyone to play an older game.
It's not a bad idea, but, think about it. Most of the regular Loradon players have probably left and will come back when 3.0 comes out.

Hehe... I miss Loradon. Vista is annoying, but so far it's only been this game I've not been able to find a work-around for.

I reckon all the oldies are ready to swarm 3.0 like some sort of cult. I can't join 2.1 again though, i've had to get a summer job :S
EDIT: Basically what Dreadweaver said earlier, I should read the other posts, that aside, i'd say a Loradon 2.1 restart is for the excellent in-game community atm. Tbh i've never seen anything quite like it in another online game usually there's more egoing.

A reboot is definitely a good thing. I think one of the things that made Loradon so much fun for me was the high level of competition. Since the community is small (compared to like WoW or something like that), you know everyone pretty well and it encourages a competitive atmosphere. "I gotta get to the next level so I can be the best!" type atmosphere, but when dev slowed down and eventually stopped leveling kinda slowed down and people dropped off for other reasons. So, I agree that the reboot would bring somewhat of a fresh aspect to the game for the current base community, but, I wouldn't expect too many new players.

I agree with Vayne that the atmosphere of everyone trying to become better then everyone else is good. In the end like right now it really shows who stepped up to become a good player and who were the people that quit trying or left for there own reason. I also enjoyed how you would always set goals for your player. like when you first start out your goal is to become good enough to go to Donwood. Then later you choose how high a level you are willing to go. I think having a small amount of people but just enough like it use to be was good. Like Vayne said you knew everyone very well. Also you could talk like about real things not just about the game like in other online games. if we can get that now for a short while before 3.0 that would be great. If not I hope Loradon 3.0 will stay the same as it was. I also hope I can reach a high level for myself in the next loradon. Also I believe I am going to name my noob character Isolation.

I mean for now in 2.1 I'm naming my noob Isolation. In the next loradon I will take Dr_BoB for sure. Besides that the rest of the names don't reallty matter to me. I like a lot of the peoples names that play now but thats there name so if they end up playing I don't want to have stoolen there name. I think that would look really weak stealing another persons name. Funny thing is in loradon your name follows you. Once you pick it you really can't change it because that is what they know you for. Which i wouldn't change my name any way also on my player Dr_BoB I got best thief wy would I want to change my mains name if I did that.
